What happens after you finish your assessment
From your last answer to hearing back — and what each outcome means.
Open help in my care spaceThe journey
Four steps, and a doctor at the centre
You complete a short assessment. Your answers are checked for anything that needs urgent attention. A licensed doctor reviews your case and decides. You're told the outcome, and the reason for it, in your care space.
Outcomes
What your doctor may decide
- Approved
- Your doctor has prescribed a treatment and recorded why. Your plan, and what happens next, appear in your care space.
- More information needed
- Something in your answers needs clarifying before a safe decision is possible. Your case stays open and your doctor comes back to you.
- Referred or not suitable
- Remote care isn't right for your situation. You're told why and pointed to care that is. This is a clinical judgement, not a rejection of you.
Your record
Who can see what
Your doctor sees the case they are reviewing, and every opening of your record is logged. You can see your own assessments, status and plan at any time in your care space.
If something is urgent, don't wait for a review — call 998 or go to your nearest emergency department.
